Vintage Kip's Enjoy a Big Boy Smoke-Glass Ashtray "America's Favorite Hamburger"!
ESTATE FIND! From the glory days of American burger joints comes a Big Boy ashtray! This one came from Kips, which I believe was in North Texas (Dallas area) and Wichita, Kansas - as I recall eating there as a kid. I suspect it dates to the 1970s.
It measures 4.25” diameter, and is about 1” tall. It’s a smoky glass, kind of somewhere between a brown and a gray.
Condition is vintage preowned, but overall very good with no chips nor cracks in the glass. There are some very minor scuffs, and it could use a slightly better cleaning than the quick one I gave it. Selling as-is.
